Round Ligament Pain (What moms don’t talk about )
☥ It’s a lot of things pregnant women don’t express which may portray pregnancy to be a cake walk. The end result has to be so rewarding that the woman loses focus of everything she has went through throughout this 40 week process.
.
.
.
☥ But for thinner women like myself and women who are inately in tune with their minds and bodies , we feel every single thing. I swear I can feel when my baby grows a hair. I feel everything.
.
.
.
☥ Why did I think that morning sickness was the hardest thing a woman experiences next to delivering the baby? I skipped out on the “head in toilet “ phase and don’t get me wrong, I’m ever thankful for that.
.
.
.
☥ But nowww.......Now experiencing what is known as round ligament pain .........a constant pulling of ligaments in the lower parts as the baby stretches my uterus that was once oh so tiny and makes room for himself. These intense sharp pains will make you think that the baby will fall out any minute.....😣⚡️
.
.
.
☥ Look, I’m striving to find comfort and the beauty of this phase.... I mean ima doula also, I’ve worked with 5 women as they carried their humans so beautifully and delivered them oh so successfully. But why didn’t any body tell me the extremessssssssss?????
.
.
.
☥ Women really make pregnancy look easy. I guess I’ll continue to smile and avoid complaining as my pum pum and lower abdomen feel like it’s gonna hit the floor. Because “the all is mind”, right?
.
.
.
☥ Well. Okay.
